The first Paris walking tours devoted entirely to women’s history and influence.
Each Women of Paris tour examines the lives of a variety of women who have played a defining role in different areas of the city’s history.
The Essential tour, starting at the Pantheon in Paris’ Latin Quarter, guides visitors through the charming streets of the famous Left Bank, passing landmarks such as the Jardins de Luxembourg and the wonderfully chic Saint-Germain-des-Prés district – unravelling stories of incredible women at every turn.
The Sugar and Spice tour explores the lives of women who have greatly influenced literature, not only in Paris but the rest of the world whilst meandering through the streets they once lived in and stopping off along the way at a variety of patisseries and chocolatiers to sample the local sweets.
The newest tour, the Drama Queens tour, highlights some of the heroines of the Parisian stage, music, and theatre, as it weaves through the city’s historical theatre district.
Loved this tour with Heidi. The stories tied to each monument or view were super interesting, from Saint Genivieve's bizarre diet and key role in the history of Paris to the evolving perceptions of Marie Curie's legacy. The details made these women come to life, and each one spoke to a different era in history. Highly recommended, would be great for families with teenage feminists while visiting Paris! Heidi sent out a reading list afterwards and I will definitely be reading at least one of the books

We did this tour as a group of eight and really enjoyed it. Chrissy showed as around and was really friendly and knowledgeable. Starting at the Pantheon and taking us around some of the most beautiful parts of the city, it was great to learn about the famous women of Paris who history books and other tours have often neglected, but who were instrumental in shaping the city into what it is today. Thank you!

Our group enjoyed the full three hours with Heidi, the founder of Women of Paris, as she expertly took us through a historical walking tour with an emphasis on the women who are often in the shadow of men, but who made great contributions to Paris. More of this is needed in every city, but Heidi is leading the way in Paris. Her storytelling was interesting, full of information and laced with humor. We had a great time and left inspired!
