Want to walk the Parisian streets? See and feel the history of the city through a unique lens? Come join us online!
COMING SOONOur virtual tour experience is educational, interactive, and so much fun! Over zoom we shed light on the lives and achievements of female writers in Paris, intertwining their stories with the geographical, political, and cultural changes of the city throughout its history. You’ll be treated with views of the charming Saint Germain-des-Prés district and the stories of individuals such as Colette, George Sand, and Simone de Beauvoir, just to name a few! The Literary Left Bank virtual tour experience is the perfect way to spend a few hours either with friends or meeting new meeting new people online. You can also customize your experience with, for example, additional conversation sessions or Q&A’s. Virtual tours run at 20:00 CET on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays (and exceptionally on Monday night for International Woman's Day!)
This virtual experience is hosted over Zoom and will be an interactive session led by one of our fantastic guides. You will have the chance to live chat with the guide and other guests and the guide will also share pre-recorded footage with you via screen share. The theme of the experience is women writers of the Left Bank and is essentially the Sugar & Spice tour in virtual format minus any tastings. At various moments throughout the tour we will pause the pre-recording in order to engage in a live discussion. Participants have the opportunity to ask questions and interact as they would during a non virtual tour.
You just need a computer, laptop or smartphone onto which you have downloaded Zoom videoconferencing. And an internet connection bien sûr!
Non private groups are limited at 10 guests per tour in order to keep the session intimate. Private groups can exceed this capacity depending on how you wish to tailor the tour.
The experience typically lasts around 1.5 hours.
If you're running late it's important that you contact Heidi either by email, instagram or phone. You can find contact details on the website. We may start without you but you should still be able to join us and catch up!
